Jimmy Chey is a South Korean film director and New York—based gaffer, key grip, and lighting board operator. He is currently pursing a BFA in Film at the School of Visual Arts.

As a writer-director, his work explores intimacy, moral, ambiguity, and violence within the city. His films observe ordinary people in moments where small choices carry lasting consequences. His films include Us (2022), Dave (2022), Flu Game (2024), and Rendezvous (2025).
